AVPE Systems is based in Bitton, Bristol, and supplies customers throughout the UK, Europe and Asia with complex machined components. We specialise in airframe and landing gear parts as well the machining of castings, forgings and 3D printed parts.

AVPE Systems is a service driven business – we support our customers with speed shop and AOG requirements, and we manage complex material and special process supply chains for major production work packages.

Spares and AOG support

AVPE Systems supplies a portfolio of over 500 unique part numbers for a major aerospace aftermarket spares distributor. Services provided include stock holding, AOG turnarounds and engineering support for bespoke repair parts.

Major packages

AVPE systems supplies a package of 95 complex machined, treated, and assembled parts for a high rate single-aisle aircraft programme. The package uses our full range of capabilities including thread rolling, and we manage a global material and special process supply chain.

Milling

Extensive 3, 4 and 5-axis milling capability up to 2000mm x 850mm.

Turning

CNC turning including twin spindle mill-turn and 7-axis sliding head machines.

Grinding

CNC and manual grinding machines for cylindrical and surface grinding.

Assembly

Dedicated assembly facility for minor assembly work.

Inspection

NADCAP-standard inspection facility including CMM machines and a thread rolling lab.

Thread rolling

Wide envelope of thread rolling capability with machines from ten to 60 tonnes of pressure.
