Pete Abbot

Engineer

Pete joined AVPE as an apprentice working in the production control team. After developing an interest in the engineering side of the business, Pete spent time in various roles and eventually settled in the Quality team, gaining extensive experience and becoming our lead CMM specialist.

Today, as Senior Quality Engineer, Pete is responsible for working with our customers and internal teams to make sure the highest quality standards are met.

Zoe Hopkins

CMM Inspector

Having been interested in aerospace and engineering since attending a school careers fair, Zoe joined Broadway Engineering on a Quality apprenticeship in 2018. She gained experience using inspection and measurement equipment and is now a qualified CMM inspector responsible for certifying aircraft and engine parts as conforming.

Zoe says “Inspection is a really interesting area to work in, it’s great to see the whole range of different components we manufacture and it makes me look at engines a little differently when I go on holiday!”.

Graduates

Graduate roles at Broadway Group combine work on challenging projects with insight into every part of our business, setting you up a career in your chosen field. Recent graduates have gone on to become project managers, production controllers and CMM programmers.

Apprenticeships
